Functions:
- Document Capture & Indexing – Magician directly controls the scanner and provides automated indexing of documents for the most efficient capture workflow. Observation input capability at the time of scanning.
- Document Retrieval & Viewing - Entries are made in the EMR document list and linked to the images in the repository for seamless viewing with annotations capability.
- Enterprise Document Management - In addition, other documents such as invoices, financial records, EOBs,
personnel records, etc. can be captured, separately indexed and
imported into the document repository. They along with the
electronic medical records can be searched for, retrieved and
viewed through the document management desktop client
application that is independent of Centricity EMR & PM.
- EDMS Features & Functions - Document Archiving, OCR, full text search, workflow, application enablement, electronic EOB pre-processors and other document management tools
and applications are available.
